General Purpose Silicone Sealant

BOSS 1112 SILICONE SEALANT is a one-part moisture curing silicone sealant suitable for use in a broad range of applications. It is easy to apply and offers excellent adhesion to a variety of non-porous substrates such as glass, glazed ceramic tiles and aluminum.

APPLICATIONS:
BOSS 1112 SILICONE SEALANT is primarily designed for conventional glazing, and is ideally suited to sealing glass windows, shop fronts, aluminum joints, showcases, shower screens and around bathtubs, shower screens and basins.

• Ease of use, one-part sealant, no mixing required.
• Good weatherability – virtually unaffected by sunlight, rain, ozone, and temperature extremes.
• Long life reliability, cured sealant stays rubbery from –15 to 95oC without tearing, cracking, drying out, or becoming brittle.
• Wide temperature gunnability can be applied in any season.

LIMITATIONS:

• Do not use for structural glazing.
• Not to be used in aquariums.
• Not recommended for use in below ground joints or where abrasion and physical abuse are encountered.
• Do not apply to surfaces that require painting or to masonry substrates such as concrete, marble, limestone, and brick
